whether that was in my household or my own experiences of falling into that cycle of abuse at the age of 14.” She further revealed in an interview with NBC affiliate KSNW that every woman in her family has been impacted by domestic violence, highlighting the pervasive nature of the issue.
Opening up about her own abusive relationship, which began when she was 14 and lasted until about 2018-2019, Smith explained that it is something she is still dealing with today. Despite the challenges, she has chosen to channel her experiences into a force for good.
